PATCHWORK
The patchwork is constructed using pieces of fabric to form a strip of cloth. This painting may or may not apply fabric figures. Have existed for centuries in North Africa, Turkestan, Persia, India and China. It was in the eleventh century that the Crusades introduced these techniques in Europe. In the United States of North America along with the Patchwork Quilting flourished and developed because they were introduced by English and Dutch settlers between 1775 and 1885. Today there are many followers of Patchwork.
Bobbin lace
Bobbin lace is a lace textile made by braiding and twisting lengths of thread , which are wound on bobbins to manage them. As the work progresses, the weaving is held in place with pins set in a lace pillow, the placement of the pins usually determined by a pattern or pricking pinned on the pillow.
