Armchair upholstered in leather with walnut feet   JBM

The Davenport desk,namerd after Captain Davenport who ordered one from Gillow & Co furniture makers in the 18th century. The desk has a brown leather lined sloping, lift up top. There are 5 small drawers on the right hand side of the pedestal support.The top of the desk has a small gallery for ink wells, pens and pencils. The gallery surround is serpentine shape with a centrally placed hand caved  medallion in the back. The front legs are fluted and the desk apron is hand carved to match the medallion. The desk measures 3 1/8 inches high x 2  1/4 inches wide x 1 1/2 inches deep and is available in a walnut finish

This Victorian Chess Table is a purpose-built furniture item with a chess board on its surface and a small drawer for storing the chess pieces pieces Table is supprted by a turned central pedestal on a Quatrefoil Base It measures 2 1/2inches high. And the table top is 2 1/64 Square. the chess table has a walnut finish.

Classic Hepplewhite style, shield or sometimes called camel back, due to the pronounced hump like curve of the top back rail. The front legs are channeled and fluted characteristic features c1788.

The chair measures 3 1/2 inches high x 2 inches wide x 1 5/8 inches deep and is upholstered in an emerald green pile and available in a walnut finish.

Simple and elegant chair carved by hand, finished in mahogany. The backrest is adorned with carvings of a drawn drawing, with turned legs. Upholstered in ecru fabric. Lovely !!!!! JBM

George 111 cyma curved oval shaped serving table with one drawer and a bottom shelf. The edge around the tabletop is raised forming a small lip. The Single table width drawer is curved to follow the contour of the table. 2 small brass knobs form the drawer handles. The edge of the bottom shelf is decorated with a pierced gallery. It follows the curve of the shelf and leaves a space clear at the front of the table to allow stored items to be easily removed from the bottom shelf when needed. The 4 turned and tapered legs are fitted with Faux casters 1780- 1800 the table measures Finished in walnut and gold

Very similar in style to the popular 1800 the Farthingale chair (or back stool), which was created without arms to accommodate the ladies large skirts, and its small, square back and seat were covered with leather stretched across it, trimmed in nail heads up until this time although simple, loose “squab” cushions were still predominant. The back stool came to be known as “an upholsterers’ chair, The  legs on this chair are simple knob turnings and the spreader bars are straight. The chair measures  1 3/4 inches wide x 1 3.4 inches deep x 4 inches high  and is  upholstered in rich burgundy leather with brass studs. The chair has a walnut finish.
